hehe... I don't really understand the Al-hamdulillah thing actually, can you explain it? It seems like glorifying God that you might be sick? Is it like saying, glory to God and only He will decide whether we get sick or not and live or die?
I think the idea is that the best way of warding off ill is to invoke the mightiness of God. I don't know why the sneeze was considered a big deal back then, but today at least we know that when we sneeze, for just one instant everything in our body stops. Like, STOPS. It's pretty cool, actually.
